I do alot of ASP programming using VFP as a backend.

Until last Thursday I was using a very stable Win98SE platform running PWS, ASP, VFP6 and FrontPage 2002.

When I installed VFP7 I suddenly couldn't access my tables across with web server any more - with the following error:

[Microsoft][ODBC Driver Manager] Data source name not found and no default driver specified

This is a fairly new problem address in Q172864 and is (apparantly) related to ASP - but I suspect the error only surfaced after upgrading the OLE DB/ODBC thingies as part of the VFP7 install.

I am waiting for a hot fix of ASP.DLL to be e-mailed to me which will (hopefully) solve this (annoying) problem.

Anyone else run into this problem and, if so, figure out a solution apart from the one noted in Q172864?
