Is there a WinAPI call that would unconditionally, ie, even if files existed in the folders, effectively remove a folder and subfolders, in a single action.

I have an app that creates temp folders and subfolders and would like, as in the dear old days of DOS, to use the equivalent of KILL.exe or KILLDIR.exe.
