Della is being modest listing her book as solution #4. It really should be your first resource. It is amongst the best written computer books I have ever read. I was doing hard core automation in minutes (well, maybe an hour or two) from reading their book and going through the examples.

Thanks to their book, I do things which are frequently easier through automation than through Excel's manual interface, and which make clients' jaws drop. Graphing is the best example of that.

I've never met Della or Tamar (I hope to one day) - I'm just talking from personal experience. It's an awesome book. I read it cover to cover.

It's packed with all kinds of code that's been tested in production apps. The best part of the book is that it's a .CHM file. Purchase it through Hentzenwerke and within a business day, you'll get an email telling you how to download the .CHM file, so you can start reading it before the hard copy shows up on your doorstep.
