This would have saved me a few minutes so far. On each machine where I worked, I've set the syntax coloring so that comments come with a light blue (0,255,255) backgrund; when repeatedly pressing ctrl+g to find all occurences of a string in class code, I eventually make sure everything is either handled the new way, or commented.
On second thought, what about the code which is temporarily commented out? I may need to be reminded about that. Mmmmm... rather don't touch this.
