In the two minute demo Gene Goldhammer made for me, he took a text string and with the StrConv() function turned it into a numeric entity referenced string. A very simple example might be a starting string that looks like these symbols "<" which would convert into a string that looks like "<" as the result from StrConv().

I have tried the Base64 value (13) which does not do the job by its self. There was some other little thing that he did that made it work and I think it had to do with StrToFile() because he saved the result and then reopened it. It was like magic with just a little smoke and mirrors - the hole sample file was converted in a flash.

Hopefully Gene will cut in here somewhere and shed some light.
