IMHO there is no straight way to make it within report writer. However, you can do this, manipulating report cursor, i.e. you:
1. Create one more cursor containing group totals.
2. Link two cursors together having one new field indicating 'detailed' and 'group total' records.
3. Print report grouping by new field.
