Hi!

You can use GetColor() function for that purpose. Put a button on form and color sample in a shape to left from it. Click on button or shape use GetColor() to pick up a color. Pass old color to the GetColor() function as a parameter. If GetColor() returns -1, user cancelled that dialog.

If you want color picking is persisten on the form - search for third-party ActiveX control.

HTH.

The professional level of programmer could be determined by level of stupidity of his/her bugs

It is not appropriate to say that question is "foolish". There could be only foolish answers. Everybody passed period of time when knows nothing about something.
