OK Stuart,

We have not installed SP8a yet, so that might help. We will do so.

We can't go to just one protocol since we don't have a proxy server, so that item is more than a little difficult to accomplish.

My Sys Admin says Server was not rebooted because it needs to be up 24/7. (?) I'll beg him and see if he'll do it.

We installed all the latest Win2k updates today; SP2 with latest critical updates; DirectX 8.0a; IE5.5 update2. Nothing changed. Problem still exists. I will let you know more as we work on the other items you suggested. So far you're the only one that has come up with any ideas for us to try, so your input is deeply appreciated.

I've been looking at some of the problems that other people on UT are having, and they really look like manifestations of our situation, just stated differently. My feeling is that this thing is more prevalent than people may realize.

Weather starting to get hot for you yet?

Pete
