Can a COM object be accessed through an ASP web page.

If so, is creating a COM object as simple as compiling a program as a COM object?

If not, here's the scenario. I have a program that I pass a couple of parameters to that will output a file in dBase III / FoxPro 2.x format sorted for mailing. I want to be able to have a web page run this program and email it to an email account. The main focus is getting the program to execute and output the file.
