This message has been marked as the solution to the initial question of the thread.
Use the "Runtime Variable Values" box in the lower right corner of the screen to define those variables. Ex.

SSNSRCH = "whatever"

>I'm using ViewEdit and getting an error when modifying a view created in the View Designer. The error is "Error in SQL: Error number 1806 SQL: Column "SSNSRCH" is not found." SSNSRCH is a public variable used in the filter portion of the View Designer. Does anyone know if this app does not support the use of variables in the SQL? If it's done under the "Build field list" button then I would additionally like to know under what condition the button becomes enabled, as it is not available to me. Thanks!
