I sent a message to Della via the thread above:

anything that documented in a comprehensive way the differences? More of a one-
source kind of thing?

Server, VFP, and ANSI flavors of SQL? The best sources of this are the sessions 
given at the various conferences. Jim Duffy gave one at San Diego, and I think 
Chuck Urweiler gave a similar one before. Other than that, no, I haven't found 
a single source.
I wonder if Jim or Chuck would have information/documentation they would be willing to share?
