I have a need to define a special plug-in. That will be a small plug-in which will be responsible to fire a local EXE from the workstation. All I need is to define the plug-in to read the parameters from the HTML code and know what EXE to call. It can be an EXE from the workstation or from a NT server.

What would be the major steps in Visual C++ 5.0 in order to accomplish that? I have created a project by choosing DLL but this is where I am not sure where to go. Should I be better to use a framework to generate DLL like PluginMaker or something like that?
