Those are not very big tables. Anything under 500,000 records would be considered small for VFP. I have applications with 80 or 90 tables a number of which have 300,000 to 500,000 records accessed over a LAN without a problem. Though the number of users is much less than your application. I usually have 5-6 simultaneous users.
Data corruption in my experience is caused by people shutting down the computer inappropriately or network problems. On a well run network I do not experience corruption or very rarely.
