I had s similar problem a few months ago, except my problem was involving an active x list box. Active X controls have there own Windows Handle seperate from the vfp app, so there are some different difficulties to deal with. I tried everything I could for a couple of weeks, then posted comments to UT. Nobody gave me an answer that I remember but I got a lead. I suspect that there are different screen redraw, refresh, paint functions in VFP that are being called from the click on the tab and .ACTIVEPAGE than other similar type functions. Anyway the problem straightned out for me as well.
