Hi Doru:

Many thanks for your reply. I ran this by Dave Lehr, and he suggested that the search paths had somehow gotten out of wack. I copied the whole caboodle over to my laptop and re-ran the setup program and this seemed to straighten things out. I got the "project has been moved" error, and confirmed that I wanted to run from a new directory, and then in runttime, my framework front-end came up and asked for the location of local and shared data.

So if this ever happens, again, I'll just move the project and see if that fixes it. I got bogged down within the debugger trying to get a clue, and that wasn't terribly helpful and this was at the end of a very long session trying to figure out parameterized views for the first time. I'm still not sure how the problem was created in the first place, but I've been had been screwing around with the project's DBC bigtime.
