>I need a way to synchronize a Windows 2000 workstation time to a time from a server (Windows 2000 server or Novell server). I can do it on a Win98 workstation by using the n_systime function in the gpLib third party FLL library. I have tried some the solutions listed on this site with inconsistent results (such as creating a temp file on the server and reading the file create timestamp), but I was hoping for an API function or a third party solution that is bullet proof. This is for a time clock application, and I can never rely on a workstation time. Thanks in advance for any help.

FAQ#7903 is bullet-prrof for NT/2000 to NT/2000. However, it won;t work for Novell servers.

What inconsistent results are you getting with the temporary file approach?
