So here's a follow up for anyone interested.

I've broken the devcon keynote into 10 pieces (plus a batch file to put them back together) and put them on my website's downloads page. Please feel free to download the pieces individually if you need the devcon address.

You can also find Steve Ballmer's address on the site, and a VFP class I built that loads up the news from FoxCentral and displays it in a useful UI. Use the class in your development tools...or whatever. If you don't know what FoxCentral is, check it out at http://www.foxcentral.net .
