I have been trying to use the COM demo that is referenced in MSDN under Q188709. I put the COM EXE object on a remote computer (running W2K Pro - is this my problem?) as directed and I also added Vfp6run.exe and Vfp6enu.dll as directed. I then tried to register the object via the command C:\VFPCOM\FOXSERVER.EXE -REGSERVER and it said it couldn't find the Microsoft Visual FoxPro support library. I then copied the VFP6R.DLL to the remote directory. When I tried to register the COM EXE again I got the error "Visual FoxPro Cannot Start. Could not load resources. Press F1 for help." Pressing F1 didn't do anything nor did clicking on the Help button that was presented.
Does anyone know what I may be doing wrong? Is the registration process different under W2K than under WinNT?
