Colin,
you have to make sure the printer name is exact. In this case I think the printer name should be WinFax and not Winfax. I use aprinters() and scan the array use upper() on both sides to find the exact spelling and then use the name from the array. Trust me. You can fax a word doc with WinFax from VFP by setting the printer before launcing Word from VFP.
