I'm just trying to use progress bar to show the user how mach data in BOM calculation progesssing have been finished and use the timer object to pick out the processed time and compute how long it will finished every half second. In this way, when the progress bar stop in certain percent for calculating a big BOM structure, users also could know how long they will be waiting. I don't know is that data operation will terminate the timer event or too heavy for system to run the timer event. May I have your more detail comments on it? Thanks.
