I am trying to build a custom installation application which will basically copy some files from a source and update some registry settings. I built the install application and it works fine if the system has VFP installed on it. According to the documentation, all I need to include with the EXE is vfp6r.dll and vfp6enu.dll to make it run. However, I just tried putting the EXE along with the DLLs on a CD and tried using my application on a Win2000 Server machine. When I attempt to execute the EXE, I received the following error:

e:\setup.exe is not a valid Win32 application.

I tried copying the DLLs to the c:\winnt\system32\ directory but I get a "Parameter is incorrect error". What is going on? How can I fix this? Is what I'm trying to do possible?

Thanks in advance,
