I don't think there were any changes to the report writer in VFP7 and I am not having the same experience as you.

I would definitely suspect something in the data you are sending to the report. Look closely at the error message you are getting and then examine all of the 'print when' clauses etc.

Do you get the same errors when you attempt to print hard copy?
