Hmm... Nope, no changes. Fresh install with all the defaults. Are you sure you have a previously run program that has a space in the file name and starts with the string you're typing? If not, the space may be the first non-matching character, which dismisses the MRU list.
After playing some more I noticed that you can auto-insert from the MRU list with a tab as well. I can't find a way to turn off the auto-insert on a space.
This is going to get very annoying. It'll take me 6mos to retrain myself to type ""{backspace} every time I need to type a file name in the command window.
