Tom,

Sorry for the delay in responding. I've been swamped..

Not so. I'd point out "endowed by our Creator" for starters. I'd then point you to all the historical records where Madison et al specifically stated that if the "religious heart and passion" (my phrase) of the nation were to cool then we were in big time doo doo (my phrase again <g>). Read G. Washington's farewll speech for example.

Such places could be used by members of the public or government employees where people could display or suggest something with a religious connotation. Regarding public schools, why have them as they are a total failure. People have been known to say the "Pledge of Allegiance” in schools, and the word “God” is used in that “prayer”.

Well, I'd sure be willing to look at that. I do think there is a proper role for the fedral government but I also think that local governments could do better.

I'd like to repeal the 17th (?) ammendment which makes the election of senators happen by votes rather than appointment by governor. In the process it removes from the the need to be as mindful of their state's needs as opposed to their federal largesse.

<g>

And make it official that "Christmas" is now "Xmas" Can't have the word Christ used. <g>

>We must protect all our citizens from the abuses of others who dare to have any religious background. At the same time we must protect ourselves from accidentally doing something in a public place that may offend another person. Ignorance is not an excuse and avoidance will reduce the number of people being sued or imprisoned for offences of this type. So eliminate all public places and we will protect every individual from accidently doing something offensive to others.

Right. Let's also paint all houses the same color and only build black cars as well. Can't have a pink car getting anyone all steamed up.. <g>

>God Bless America. Whoops, sorry to those who were offended by that statement – no – on second thought I am not sorry. Be offended – I want to know how you think and why. Let your emotions be your guide. Hope I hit someone’s button. This could be fun.
