Sorry. But, you got a very strange situation.. Have you try clean it up the hole deal ?
Regenerating your setup's disks and deleting the old one..
Uninstalling your software by Control panel..
Restarting Windows..
..and reinstall the app again
I had some months ago, a very similar problem and it was solved doing all those steps !
