So we're willing to split hairs in favor of Christianity. If Jim Jones was not leading a Christian sect, then that fact was lost on 99% of the population.
I'll bet that an educated Muslim cleric might say that bin Laden is masquerading as a Muslim, but has totally rejected the Koran.
You quote parts of the Koran saying that they should do away with the unbelievers, but I've met many Muslims who don't wish to do that at all. And you can pull out parts of the Old Testament saying that one group should wipe out another. I don't think that that's what I should do.
