>I am now ready to share my program with other departments in my county (vfp 6.0). Is there a way to protect my source code so that other departments can't view or modify it? I just want them to click on my .exe and work with the program, but I don't want them to open my project using vfp editor. I did run the setup wizard and then install the program, but the users can still go to my installed directory and open project up with vfp.

There are two chapters in the documentation that discuss distribution. Basically, you move the files you want to distribute to a new directory. DOn't put the project or source files in the new folder. When you run the setup wizard, you point it at the new directory.
