I have a file in the downloads section that uses WinZip to add all the files in a project to a zip file. The way I use winzip in this case is I build a text file with a list of all the filenames I want winzip to add to the zip file, one filename per line. Then I call winzip and pass it the name of the zipfile I want it to create and the fullpath of the text file with the filenames of all the files I want add to the zip file.

If your integrating zip functionality in an application I would suggest taking a look at DynaZip and Mark McCasland's DynaZip class in the downloads section.
