>Contrary to what you 'think', Len, they are not the superhuman, undefeatable fighters you portray them to be. You are letting your fears rule your judgement. How do you distinguish your thought and actions from cowardice?
Individually, I will agree with you, they are not superhuman & they can be killed. But you will not conquer their beliefs, In in fighting a war against terrorism, that is your enemy - not the individual.
Tell me, if it came to pass that your country was defeated by another group with opposing views to your own, would you immediately change your beliefs to those of your defeaters or would you hold fast to your on beliefs & fight your conquerors (possibly using terrorist tactics) to regain your country & the right to live as you choose. If you would hold on to your beliefs, then why think that brute force will cause anyone else to act differently.
