Hi all,

I'm not crazy about the new UT login screen and front page. I find the flashing cursor disconcerting when I enter my username and password into the textbox. Probably caused by the mega-dose of animated gifs or something. I feel like I'm going to get a seizure from it.

And that color scheme is just too mauve with its muted greens and non-symetrical elipses with for command buttons. It makes it look like the Apple Quicktime Player (which currently has dishonorable mention in the GUI hall of shame).

Oh well, I'm sure I'll get used to it. At least it goes away when I login!
