That's the hot setup.

>Is anyone doing this at present?

Somebody at Microsoft has to test this stuff. :-)

>Are there any problems with what I hope to achieve?

Nope. There were a few issues in 6.0 that got fixed in 7.0, and they were pretty minor.

>What video cards do folks reccomend?

I'm using the Matrox 450, just because that's what I was given. Can't really give any recommendations, but the Matrox works fine for me.

It depends on how you have the card set up. If you set it up to use the second monitor as an extension of the first, VFP will fill both monitors, and your form will be in the middle of the two. However, you probably won't set it up this way, as all applications will span the monitors, and it's really annoying, IMO.

Also, you'll likely want to set the second monitor's resolution seperately (which the Matrox allows) if it's a smaller monitor. I've got a 19" and 17", and I set the 17" a notch down on the resolution.
