Some people find the 70-100 test hard, others easy. I found it easy while others whose development skills are without question bombed on it. If you feel that you are good at professionally scoping out requirements and architecting a solution, then try taking the test. IMHO, just taking the test is the best ways to prepare for the test if you know what I mean.
BTW, the MS Press study book for the 70-100 is not a bad book as far as actually getting a good feel for the skills themselves, even if it's a bit of an overkill insofar as the test is concerned.
