That's exactly why they made Intellisense extendable/customizable. This particular tooltip annoys me to, so I killed it, leaving all other Intellisense intact. Two lines of code will do the same for you:
USE (_FoxCode)
REPLACE Tip WITH "" FOR LOWER(abbrev) = "sele" AND type = "C"
