I do that very thing right now. I'm using Visual Maxframe with my VFP apps and I wrote a simple program that's called from my error handler. I pass in the error code, program, line number, etc. from the error handler, then use the GroupWise API to send an email to me. The users aren't even aware it's happening. Depending on the severity of the error message, I can then call the user to get specifics, or just deal with it later.
