>Thanks. Did you ever see the similar behavior? It's not a normal trapable error, it's a VFP crash on alter table command. I think, I'll try to run ALTER TABLE on one individual field in a time to determine the reason.

I never used DBC in my projects. We moved directly to VFP + MS Sql Server from FPD 2.6
