No. Neither NotePad nor WordPad are COM servers as MSWord is. Therefore they do not have an "object model" to refer to an you cannot control them through COM.
If all you want is a simple text editor (and Notepad is "simple" to put it nicely :), you can create a form with an edit box in VFP. You can save the text in a Memo field or in an external TXT file.
