It seems to be a great technique.
However, it is really a road block to some of us.
For example, we have a 1.1 billion row table, which
is constantly being insert into.
If my big queries happen to look up data located in
the partition being updated, I will certainly
get the Snap Shot Too Old nasty message.
The reality is that 40% of the business queries
are under this threat.
Any recommendation will be greatly appreciated.
