But, what I am really looking for is what the Jumpstart Guide and Dev. Guide left out (which appears to be a lot).

I must reccon that when you're just starting out there are a number of questions that can go unanswered. I obviated the subclassing part because I wasn't experienced enough in OOP at the time to see its importance.

At this point, I still find myself tracing through the code sometimes. That, a few questions here, and a bit of reading, usually takes care of my problems.

>As far as your freind goes, sure! Don't mean to sound like a snob, but I only fly fish and only guide fly fisherman (not that I am looking for a guide job whatsoever! We could just go fishing!). Don't know much about the other ways (and don't condone them either <g>) :-)

Bob is quite an accomplished fisherman (deep sea and fly fishing) so you shouldn't have to tell him how to tie a fly (me? He can probably tell you stories if you two get together) ;-)

>BTW, are you going to WhilFest? I am. I see what you look like in the UT pic so I should recognize you if you're going. Just look for a 6'5", 225lb 43 year-old wearing glasses w/ no gray hairs (no cowboy hat, etc.... I don't look like your typical Montanan :-)

Yes, I'll be there. I'm 5'10" about 170lb 37yo with almost no dark hairs left. I don't look like your typical venezuelan either ;-)

I'll be giving Kevin a hand with the booth so you should find me easily.

Nice "talking" with you!

Alex
