Apart from the resize modus faciendi, which I believe is feasible (see previous replies by. J.Crescencio and myself) I think your major concern should be "what will happen to other controls in the form?": if you resize a textbox, chances are that you end up obscuring its neighbour controls. Taking off from Larry's suggestion, I think you should be better handling this from the form resize event. If there is a proeminent control in the form that should benefit most from the form resize (either when the form grows or when the form shrinks) then you should resize that control and just reposition the others accordingly.
