I know that this won't help you here, but it may be of intrest to other uk developers.

I use a great product From a uk co. Commidea, there on line transaction program WinTI is superb and very easy to integrate using Winsock messaging - i use the MS Winsock to do that bit. Their Tech Support is excellent too.

The product scales from a single server / single comm line installation right up to multiple servers each with 16 x25 comm channels. even a single server single ISDN channel deals with around 3500 transactions per day.
