Hi!

Take a look to the Windows API#12636 (click a linkk for "1" to see it), there is also a VFP declaration sample for that function. You can use it to execute URL - this opens user's default browser for that URL.

Browser ActiveX in the list of control is "Microsoft Browser ...". Well, you do not need to use it unless you want to make VFP form show WEB sites like a browser ;)

HTH.

>I am new to ActiveX controls and need help. I would like to place a web browser control on a form. I simply want to click on the control and have the user's browser come up at a specified URL. I don't know what the name of the control is, I can't seem to find one anywhere, and I am not sure how to get the control into my project and onto the toolbar for use. TIA.

The professional level of programmer could be determined by level of stupidity of his/her bugs

It is not appropriate to say that question is "foolish". There could be only foolish answers. Everybody passed period of time when knows nothing about something.
