I allow the use of foxuser.dbf in my apps for many reasons. However, on all of my systems, each user's foxuser file is stored in their home directory so they are not shared. This is setup in the app's main app object (or main.prg if you don't use objects). If you attempt to share it (which you can) then it is read only and that is undesireable.
