>Myapp.exe is located on server. Have multiple workstations who run myapp.exe via shortcut. When one user runs myapp.exe no problem when second or third etc... start myapp.exe error occurs "File Access denied: with options cancel ingnore or help. click ignore and myapp.exe starts up with no errors. Question is how dow I get rid of the "File Acces denied error" is it because myapp.exe users are trying to use foxuser file at the same time? and what's the best way to reslove this. there is a config.fpw file that is built in myapp.exe. Any help or advice would be appreciated thanks for your time:)

Are you sure this has anything to do with config.fpw? If you have SET EXCLUSIVE ON, and if the program opens a common database, you will get the same error when the second (and third user) goes into the application.
