I can't control what Gartner says or publishes. I have made sure key individuals at Gartner have been educated about VFP 7.0 and its position by Microsoft (including the Steve Ballmer talk on VFP7) and that is all I can do. If and when they print anything in the future is up to them. I will clarify that Gartner is more focused on large enterprise solutions at this time and in general, VFP as a stand alone product does not fit in that category. The point is, I agree with you that it would be nice and useful for Gartner to state something positive about VFP. But I have no control of that, and I don't think it is likely. I have made sure they are educated, thus preventing anything negative from being stated like many years ago.

As you can see from my various messages recently, I'm trying to be very honest and direct with the FoxPro community, it is what I think you want and expect from Microsoft and the product manager for VFP.
