Thanks for the suggestion. I had stumbled upon this myself after I asked the question. It appears that the MSDN article was incorrect. It should have referenced VFP6RENU.DLL and VFP6R.DLL not VFP6RUN.EXE and VFP6ENU.DLL. I don't have either of these latter two in my app directory and the app works fine with just the former two. I'm not even sure what the latter two are for.
