I've tolerated the report writer up to now because the users are happy to print everything on paper. But I believe in the ideal of the paper-less office. The report writer, which is good for nothing but printing on paper, doesn't deserve to be the standard vfp output medium. We need a flexible tool that will put data in a user-specified format to Word or Excel or some other file format in common use (maybe even acrobat). I don't know about any third party report writers, except for GenRepoX, which doesn't do this, last time I checked.
