>Okay, I had VFP 5.0a installed on my PC; we in "user land" aren't allowed to do this ourselves, someone from central computing must do it. I have 3.0 in one directory (C:\Program Files\vfp), 5.0 in another (C:\Program Files\DevStudio\vfp), I can still work in 3.0 with no problems.

Selecting the help button labels this as error 1574, stating the Automation server or type library is not registered correctly, the registry file is corrupted, remove the registry entry. What entry? Since I must get central computing to fix this (control), I need to tell them exactly what to do (strange, isn't it?, I tell them). I know they did not install the upsizing wizards, could this be the problem?

Update - Convinced central computing to allow us to install and uninstall our own software, since we are the largest programming group not in central computing. This amounts to giving us the password to a special administrator logon on our NT computers. So, I uninstalled VFP 5.0 and did a complete re-install, but I'm getting the same error message. Anybody have any ideas?

Thanks
