They are good suggestions. Since the DBC, as you know, is jsut a DBF, what might be more interesting than adding this functionality to the Database Designer, would be to open up some of its existing functionality, and creating a system variable for _databasedesigner which we could set to any 3rd party .app.

In that case, we coudl let the community start to create and choose their own versions of the designers.

The view designer would be another canidate for this sort of thing.
