Hi!

This is a problem with ActiveX in VFP. Usually I workaround it by creating a container class with such tree. As soon as I return to the form with that tree from a modal form, I remove container with tree completely and add it again on the fly. This unfreeze it. As far as I know this behaviour is related to Windows events (try to pu a window on a VFP modal form using DEFINE WINDOW ... IN WINDOW... - this window is frozen on the modal for. TreeView activeX and other ActiveX controls are also Windows window and seems the probalem lies somewhere there).

>I used the TreeView control to implement a menu system. I can launch other forms and reports via the nodes/leaves of the 'menu tree'. My problem is that, on returning to the form that contains the menu tree, everything on the TreeView freezes. What's reaaly happening?

The professional level of programmer could be determined by level of stupidity of his/her bugs

It is not appropriate to say that question is "foolish". There could be only foolish answers. Everybody passed period of time when knows nothing about something.
