Just to be clear, it is Microsoft's policy not to add new product features in services packs, they will only contain important bug fixes as well as any required updates for other software which may have been recently released for compatability reasons. There has not been any announcement for a service pack for VFP 7.0, mainly because VFP 7.0 is very stable and developers can and should upgrade now and not wait for any future service pack. If Microsoft does release a service pack in the future for VFP 7.0, it will not contain any any new features, and it should only be thought of as a minor patch for a list of issues which may have been discovered since its release. I know of no reason why a developer should wait for any such service pack to be released before upgrading to VFP 7.0.
